love story

Some love stories involve blue Tiffany boxes...
some love stories involve exotic trips
everyone has their own gems, memories that showcase their love story.
When I walk into my home I see my story in the treasure that make up my love story...
they evoke a memory, a smile, whisper "love you" to me from my hubby!
This was the gem I received from my husband for Valentine's Day.
My heart skips a beat every time I look at my chandelier and know it was given with love.

We never had a chandelier in this room.
It remained bare for many years...
I never felt rushed to fill it...
waiting for the right time
the right find
was worth the wait
because receiving this as a love gift from my hubby was tens times sweeter!

here's a shot...
up close and personal
the wood beads are amazing
the finish is weathered and aged to perfection!
The size fills the room, makes a statement with maintaining an openness to the space.
Here's to the gems, treasures, memories, moments that are all part of a love story!
Do you have a favorite gift?
If so, I'd love to hear it!
xoxo,

Your husband gave me the same exact lighting fixture for valentine's day!

:-)
not really, of course

my favorite gift??
I do adore the dress from anthro nick picked out for me while on business...partly because he didn't even know that I had photographed it months ago wishing it were mine, and partly because I know he walked many miles to get it for me. When I wear it I feel pretty, and confident, as if I am clothed in his love.

But the obvious gift that I am thankful for each day is the gift of God's grace. I'd be an even bigger hot mess without it!

Your hubby rocks and that gift is amazing and beautiful, just like you!

My favorite gift ever is my antique vanity that I repainted robin egg blue. My friend just decided to give me her grandma's heirloom. Yay!

The best kind of gift! It looks gorgeous! Is it the one from Pottery Barn? I've admired that one every time I walk into the store :)

I agree. This house looks perfect. I would love to have this kind of property. If I had the money to buy a new home, it would definitely look like this one. In line with it, I would also make sure to get a property conveyancing service in Melbourne to ensure my property's safety and security.
