Oh my goodness, I thought the same thing until I tried a piece and now I can say proudly that I eat fruit cake!!!
The fruity, rum, nutty, spice flavor, plus moistness has my taste buds dancing!
Especially with your favorite hot cup of goodness... is bliss!!!

As for fruitcake, I like it if it isn't loaded with those candied cherries - just raisins or dates :)
Love the monogram notecards! I am not typically a fan of fruitcake but if you say it's yummy, I am willing to give it a taste test, especially if you make me one of your famous lattes to go with!
My husband after 7 years married told me he likes fruitcake = ) I like the Monogram notecards.
