I stumbled upon an unexpected find on Sunday at a local flea market...We dropped the chickadees off at CCD class and decided to dash over for the last day of the sale...
hello!!!
who knew what I'd find!
I spied this bench tucked underneath a table
out of my reach
two rows away from me
I only saw two legs and a smidgen of fabric
that's how easy I am!
that's all it took for me to
leap
gasp
ohhohhohh
and maneuver my way as quickly as possible for a better view
I let out a fairly loud
Sweet victory song and dance
it took just one look
from the bench to my darling husband...
He knew we were coming home with this bench!!!
Here's to life's unexpected finds and just one look!!

It looks great!!! I was picturing the whole scene as you were describing it...and I had to laugh...my hubby has had the same thing happen with things unexpectedly coming home with us. Once we were out of town for the weekend with plenty of luggage. I managed to find something, and it had to come home on the top of the van :)

Funny...last week I drove by a coffee table at the end of a driveway with a note that said "FREE"
I stopped
threw it in my back seat
and went on with my day
didnt even look at it!
figured I would paint it and distress it...
until my sister sent me a picture of my coffee table...in the Pottery Barn CURRENT catalogue...for $300!!!
