Some weeks call for slow and steady!
It's funny how we can never plan for those weeks or days...
they just happen
spontaneously
unscripted
surprisingly wonderful
&
it took me till Friday to realize this!
I spent a good part of the week wanting things to move faster...
my laundry room had something to do with my restlessness
"lets get this started"
passed my lips a few times
waiting for someone else to complete a project for me is never easy...
I'm a~ start today~right now~kinda a girl
staring at the stacks of tile
running my hand over the smooth surface
visualizing it completed
had me contemplating getting my glue gun out a few times!
I ended up doing the right thing...
walking away from the glue gun
&
right to my espresso machine...
to savor the now
the peacefulness that
slow and steady brought to my life!
Here's to savoring the beauty this week brought all weekend long!

I can certainly relate to that! When I've got a project in the wings, I can't wait to get things started and it drives me crazy waiting for someone else to get motivated. Here's to slowing down and sipping lattes instead. :)
