Quiet Confidence

I've two girls who have been patiently waiting for today to arrive...

they've had a wish

&

I had an idea

put those two things together

&

a quick Zappos order....

{cause I couldn't let an opportunity go by without being outfitted in the proper shoe attire!!!}

Today, begins their Horseback riding lessons!

Meet sweet Sadie...
Standing back watching them take it all in...
listening intently to all the ins and outs of getting your horse ready
to give them their wish...
to be there to witness this connection between my girls and this magnificent animal
her calm, quiet personality
the gently look in her eyes assured me they were going to be best friends!

They have a month to let their friendship develop

to build their own unique connection

to care for

to learn

to communicate

I am going to document their time together
through my lens...
in a series called:

Quiet Confidence

Here's to this new adventure, personal growth, budding friendships and the possibilities it has to offer...

all the while enjoying the ride along the way!!!

Wishing you the best ride possible,

xoxo,

You will enjoy watching them do what they love even more than they will enjoy learning to ride.

A fridays' favorite for sure :-)

What a fun way to spend the summer! I learned to ride while visiting my aunt one summer in Colorado. They will cherish these memories for a life time.

Have a great weekend ~

Most wonderful choice!
Our daughter has been riding for over a decade and 4 years ago (after cleaning a lot of stalls etc!) she had saved up enough money to buy her own horse. Its expensive ...very very expensive but she does all the chores on a farm for a reduced rate.
Being a horse owner is a huge responsibility and has huge rewards....congratulations for giving your girls this opportunity.
Wether a month or a lifetime it is an amazing experience.

Oh they look so precious walking together with the horse. What a great adventure they are embarking upon and what a blessing that you are getting to capture it all with your camera.
