Twilight in the Japanese Garden...

Monday, April 6, 2009

Welcome...
Let the party begin...
the birthday girl and her friends arrived home from an all day Science event at 6:00 PM
We were blessed with an amazing Spring evening!

Paper blossoms were made and lanterns were hung...

talking, laughing and eating took place...
they lingered on the porch for 3 hours!!!
They brought there Haiku's I asked the girls to make for my daughter...
They read them to her during dinner.
She was very surprised and delighted!
I listened to the poems and cried happy tears...
the poems described my daughter to a "t" and they wrote what her friendship means to them!
We saved our furniture we brought back from Japan! So happy I did...
they sat on the porch floor and ate at the tatami table.
Chocolate Ganache Ice Cream Cake from Maggie Moos...
I had to drive an hour for this cake .... but it was so worth it!!!

After dinner the girls danced in the grass under the stars...

Until they were ready for....
inside they ran!
To put PJs on!
Sleeping bags were arrange
&
the movie "Twilight" finally began!
When Edward appeared screams were heard!!!
New memories were made...
Thank you for coming!
See you at the next party.... 4 days away!!!
