Puppy Love

the bond between my daughter and our dog Lily
is the the "theme" for the third Birthday Party I am now planning.

My daughter "C" turns 9 on April 11

This is the invitation I made this morning using a picture of our goldendoodle Lily...

I did a little research before I sent out the invitations.

...all the children invited to the party have dogs...

so I included a dog biscuit in the envelope with a note tied to it that says
" to: woof woof"
love, C and Lily

Puppy love, tail-wagging, dog treats, doggy cupcakes

and the movie Bolt will all be part of the party activities.

With that accomplished I must finish the preparations for the Japanese Garden party that is taking place this Saturday....
happy April 1 to all!

Oh my gosh! your invitation ideas are SO cute and detailed. I love hearing about them.
I just watched BOLT and loved the movie.
I cannot wait to hear about the Japanese Garden party!! (I was the president of my class Jr. year and had to put prom on. I came up with the theme Cherry Blossom festival. That being said, love the Japanese theme!) <--wow, a high school reference for me. I feel like I just relived some ancient glory day ;)

I threw my daughter a dog party for her 6th birthday, and it was great! Not that YOU need any ideas...BUT..
I bought those little round tags, wrote each childs name on it, and attached it to a candy necklace for collars. I bought colorful plastic dog dishes, and filled them with cocoa puffs...looked just like dog food!!!! We ate hot DOGS...and I painted the girls nails white with black polka dots ala dalmation! I sculpted a dog cake, and for the goodie bags, I bought chinese take out boxes, painted dog bones on them, and filled them with home made ginger bread bone shaped cookies. (a doggie bag, if you will) For decorations I made fabric flags, using material with what else, dogs on it.
Cant wait to hear and see your ideas and creations!
