In the torrential.... and I do mean torrential rain I found this wonderful egg basket!
It was hiding under a blue tarp.
This is how the story goes...
I already purchased my other finds.
We were about to leave but they offered cookies to my son and i forgot to get him one.
So back out into the rain I run and I realized I had not looked at the items under the tarps.
I had not driven all this way not to see what was under the traps!
This is when I saw the egg basket.
And I saw something else!
This is where the story takes a spontaneous/ crazy turn about the other item that I found under the same tarp but you are going to have to wait till Friday to see it!
There is a very good reasons for this!
The details are sketchy even for me..
As all as I do know is that I bought it sight barely seen...
I know it has legs and drawers and saw 1/4 of it {I think that much! }
I don't really know what I bought or what it is called.
And with the vintage adrenalin running through my system I said, "it's sold to me"!
It could have been the rain and that I did not have an umbrella or a coat.
It could have been that my son was already strapped into his car seat with the car running and my friend programming the GPS to lead us to food...
It could have been that I fell in love with The Barn !
It could have been that it was Friday and I was having an outing with my son and friend...
Or
It could have been my flea market enthusiasm taking over all reasoning!
take your pick I'd love to know what you choose.
But I do know something....
it's being delivered {yes, delivered} to me on Friday!
And we both will see it for the first time together!!!
P.S.
the chalkboard you see in yesterdays post {look down it's right there, do you see it... it says Welcome}.... it's a Barn find as well!
That made me giddy and probable sent me into orbit and caused all the confusion!!

The sad thing is that I grew up on a farm and we had lots of those egg baskets and other fun things! Now I would like to have a few around here and they are gone!
I am on the edge of my seat - buying something *nearly* unseen, and I have to wait until FRIDAY!!! so exciting!!!

Boy do I know that feeling of the rummage and can't quite see it but you just know it's got to be something cool. Most of the time my instincts are right so I am sure that your instincts are right as well. Can't wait until friday!
